TRANSPORT SCOPE (T)

Transport of Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) components from Port to Project site (typically 10 x abnormal loads per WTG).

On-Site Transport refers to logistics and transport for relocation of cranes on site between hard-stands.

INSTALLATION SCOPE (I)

Installation scope refers to the mechanical and electrical installation and assembly of the WTG components in order to construct and commission the complete WTG.

WTG Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) require trained, certified and approved technicians for specific turbine type and model turbines, as this is a highly specialised skill.
