Lifting solutions company Johnson Crane Hire recently showcased its latest fleet addition – a large Liebherr LTR11200 narrow track mobile crawler crane – during a customer open day at its Epping facility in Cape Town.
This was the company’s first opportunity to bring 1 200t capacity unit into the yard for customers to view, as it had been working on projects for over 18 months.
Johnson Crane Hire is active in a range of sectors including construction, renewable energy (both wind and solar), conventional power stations including coal fired, oil and gas, film-making, mining and petrochemical.
Customers at the event received insight into the company’s vision for 2020 from managing director Lalith Senarathne, who reconfirmed the company’s commitment to continue delivering market-leading service to its Cape Town-based customers.
In addition to the LTR11200 unit, its 35t and 60t mobile cranes were also on show that are available in Cape Town to service the regional market. Johnson Crane Hire has also added a 180t and a 440t mobile crane to its Cape Town fleet to cover a wider range of projects.
In addition to crane hire, Johnson Crane Hire also offers value added services including upfront engineering and technical support, project management, heavy and specialised transportation, heavy rigging services and alternative lifting solutions including jacking and sliding options.
